Piece Angels

My "Piece Angels" have gone through a couple of different names. The original idea is the same. I wanted to create a way to lift up those people in our lives who are living treasures. They gather pieces of wisdom and love through their curiosity, learning, zest for life. They give us a piece of themselves and change our lives forever. We, in turn, become piece angels who have pieces of wisdom and love to give to others. It is a joyous and whimsical interpretation of the ancient greeting: Peace be with you.
This design uses zentangle-inspired art, woodburning, and ceramic, glass, stone insets. No two angel is alike! Wood is aspen, dimensions 5"x7". The Piece Angels can be customized with a name on the front or back. Cost is $30. plus shipping. A portion of the proceeds is donated to Hurricane Harvey Recovery.
