Getting Ready to Make a Splash

Behind the scenes, there is afoot! Looking around for that just perfect rock with the rounded edges and the flat aerodynamics to skip into the water to make a splash.

    Jazzwater - words & art for the greater good - is expanding into the waters of small publishing. It's a good time for me for that adventure.  Big publishing houses are merging and becoming giants which are great for the well-connected, but next to impossible in which to make a splash.  

   I am about making splashes. I know the ripples won't carry far. To impact in a good way even one life beyond ourselves is good daily purpose.  Small publishers can do that.  Helping new authors to publish books that they can share with their circles of influence is a way to make a splash. My focus will be on little books - little in size - 5x7, pocket paperback; little in pages - about 100 pgs; little in cost - $10.95; little in genre - short narratives, stories, poems, non-fiction, inspirational. These little books can become like those perfect throwing stones - small, giftably-affordable, short reads with a deep impact. I am equally excited about inviting new voices to join me in collaborative efforts to co-author books with the energy that creative relationships bring. I will continue writing my own little books, like Nuevo Vino, as well.  Splash. More splashing soon to come.
